.Penn Mountains Council’s Polar
Bear Camporall at Frances Slocum
Park recently. Seasonal outdoor
activities included ice fishing, cross-
country skiing, as well as a demon-
stration on winter survival.
In all, 20 patrols participated in
lighted by a series of competitions.
The patrol representing Troop 281
competed in a ‘Log Saw,” in fire-
building and first aid, as well as in
sled, sack, snow-shoe and ice-awl
races, and managed to place first
overall.
