Jacobs, Secretary of the Pennsyl- vania Department of Aging. PACE is the Lottery-funded pro- gram that permits state residents over age 65 to purchase prescribed medicines for as little as $4 regard- less of the cost, if their incomes are Now is the time for you or your organization to nominate that extra special volunteer for the Rose Brader Community Service Award. Implemented in 1980 by the United Way of Wyoming Valley board of directors, the award is named in honor of Rosalie Brader who was employed for 31 years as the U.W. All applications must be signed in the space provided and returned in order to receive new PACE cards for use after July 1, 1986. Unsigned applications cannot be processed. Mrs. Jacobs said present PACE card holders will receive their new cards during the last two weeks of June.
