Slippery pavement
“This 1981 Dodge Colt, driven by Emory D. Huey, 247 Courtdale Ave., Courtdale, slid into a rock
embankment and flipped over onto its roof early Sunday morning. According to the accident
report, Huey was traveling north on Rt. 309 when he hit a patch of ice and lost control of the
vehicle. The car then slid into a rock embankment and flipped onto its roof before coming to
rest. Huey was not hurt, but a passenger, Margaret Huey, was treated and released from the
Nesbitt Hospital. The vehicle was towed to Wesley's station.

No one injured
No one was seriously hurt in this one-car accident that took place Saturday afternoon on
Carverton Road. According to Kingston Twp. police, Catherine C. Milligan, 500 Schooley Ave.,
Exeter, was operating her 1977 Oldsmobile Cutlass in the eastbound lane when she hit the
curb, jumped the divider and hit a tree before rolling over onto its roof. Milligan did receive
minor injuries, but refused treatment. The vehicle was towed to Dolphi’s Garage.
