As of January 1, the new license, the only one required for fishing within the Commonwealth, is good for the entire calendar year. Prices remain the same as last year. A resident license cost $12, and a resident senior (over 65 years of age) is $2. A nonresident license is $20, and a resident tourist (seven consecutive days) costs $15. Licenses are available throughout the state at over 1,700 issuing agents, at county treasurers offices, or any office of the Pennsylvania Fish Commission.
