Kim Stetzer added 12 to lead the
Lady Cougars of College Misericor-
dia to a 76-38 win over Holy Family
College, Monday night, at the
McGinty gym.
The Cougars jumped out to: an
early lead and were in front 39-15 at
haltime. They continued fo control
the boards in the second half and
never fell behind.
Brown led Holy Family with 21
points followed by Falcone with 12.

Monday night.
B. Thompson led the Beavers with
35 points followed by M. Tener with
25 and M. Palmer with 23. Beaver
led 49-37 at half time but the Cou-
gars came on strong in the second
half to tie it up several times but
lost out in the final seconds of the
game.
Freshman Pat Kingland led the
Cougars with 29 points with H. Kupp
on his heels with 24. Anthony Wilson
added 13 and Ron Summers hit the
double figure column with 10.
The Cougars play Gallaudet Col-
lege Wednesday.

moved the score to 6-0 by taking
Asa Emel 5-0. 112-1b. Jeff Austin
gained six points for the Knights on
a forfeit.
119-1b. Kevin Sypniewski gave the
Grenadiers their only points when
he decisioned Terry Smith 5-0.
WINS FIRST MATCH
126-1b. Ted Naugle won his first
varsity match for the Knights by
defeating Pat O’Day 8-2. Knight
Chris Frederick took the first of six
consecutive pins. when he flattened

The Knights host the Mohawks at
home tonight (Wednesday) then go
to Dallas Saturday to meet their
Back Mountain rivals.
ONLY TWO WINS
Bill Janosky and Mike Richards
were the lone: Dallas grapplers to
turn in wins Saturday night in their
meet against the undefeated Wyo-
ming Warriors. The Warriors, now
at 6-0, used four pins and a techni-
cal in defeating the Mountaineers
51-6. The loss dropped the Mountai-
neers to 3-3 in the league.
Warriors Pat Heck flattened 98-1b.
Jim O’Donnell in 2:47, 145-Ib. Mark
Amato clamped Gene Faulls in 1:31,
167-1b. Brian Hines overturned Dale
Williams in 1:33 and Hwt. Marvin
Gilpin pinned Tom Charney in 23

It was “three wins-one loss’’ night
in the Idetown Compact League last
week with first half champs, Aries,
taking three points from LeBarons
paced by J. Berti’s 509. Jerry
Roan’s 231 (597) led the Capris to
three points from the Pintos while
the Firebirds picked up three from
the Cameros whose C. Doty rolled a
488 series. The Corvettes took their
three point from the Citations aided
by consistent bowling of all team
members. C. Williams posted 528
for the losing five.
In the Ladies Country League, a
powerful Fashion Vending five shut
out Gordon Insurance, who bowled
with only three members. The win
moved the vending team into the
lead, sparked by L. Maciejczak’s
211 and L. Cyphers’ 191 (487).
Bonomo’s Sports Center team took
three from Grotto Pizza to move
into a 4-4 tie with G.H. Harris, who
picked up three points from Cas-
tlettes. Castlettes fell to a 3-5 tie
with Grotto and Gordon teams. D.
Zurinski rolled 193 and B. Roan 174
for the pizza place. N. Ide hit pins
for 471 for Bonomo’s.
The Orange men copped three
from Trucksville B aided by H.
Shupp’s 210, in the Back Mt. Church
League. East Dallas took three
games from Carverton A and Dallas
A picked up .three points from Carv-
erton B helped by Buck Roberts 552
and Bert Roberts 519. A Shavertown
team made it three from Trucks-
ville C with none of the men able to
hit high scores. Gary Mazer rolled
520 and his twin brother, Glen, 515,
to lead Maple Grove to an even split
with Shavertown B, who had C.
Kazokas’ 572.
In the Bowlerette League high
scores were limited with N. Moser
toppling pins for 198 (528), C.
Badman rolling a 480 series and M.
Brown scoring 175. Hoagie Bar
made it three over Tom Reese girls
and Brent Long took three from
Franklin’s Restaurant.
In the four-team Bonomo’s Mixed
League, Vic McCarty’s 226 (565)
and Ken Spencer’s 517 showed the
way for the Five Pinners four point
win over Larry’s Harem. Nancy
Ide’s 200 (474) aided Whatevers in
copping three from the Dreamers
whose Jack Sandstrom bowled 553.
D. Moore’s 552 paced the Alfalfa
team to three points from the Buck-
wheats in Our Gang League.
Farina’s shut out the Worms led by
D. Hudak’s 501 and D. Jenkins 470.
E. Dingle rolled 511 for Butch’s five
but it was good for only one point
against Porky’s team. Spanky’s
blanked Chubbie’s team.
In the Imperialette League
Mahaffey Oil took three from Hum-
phrey’s Apparel to move into a 6-2
tie for first place with Schmid’s
Amoco girls who divided evenly
with Jean Shop. Humphreys are at
5-3 while Lombardo Bakery took
three from Scavone Motors to move
to 4-4. Jean Shop stands at 2-6,
Scavone Motors at 1-7. High rollers
were M. Neifert 171-183 (503), J.
Clark 198 (495), J. Mekee 195 (499),
L. Bolton 188-172 (483) and B. Roan
177.
B. Varner knocked down pins for
537 and B. Mazer added 519 to lead
Sweet Valley Outfitters in blanking
K Boom in Bonomo’s Major League.
Back Mt. Inn No. 1, aided by F.
Cornell’s 216 (589), S. Vigorito’s 234
(559), K. Orkwis’ 551 and K. Spen-
cer’s 217 (544) picked up three
points from the Hambos, whose high
men was J. Steele with 215 (554). T.
Doughton hit pins for 537 and D.
G.H. Harris in taking three from
Brown’s Oil, whose Jerry Roan hit a
high 224 (582). Back Mt. Inn No. 2
forfeited four points to Back Mt.
Sporting Goods, who had H. Garris’
537 and R. Harned’s 220 (532). Monk
Plumbing & Heating shut out the
Bermudas but no one reported their
