of Trucksville recently enjoyed a
field trip to McDonald’s in Shaver-
town where they learned about the
operations behind the scenes and
saw a movie about Kids and
McDonald’s. Scouts attending the
trip were Tony Cox, Albert Ches-
kiewitz, Adam Hoover, Jason
Seward, Eddie Williams, Terry
Meehan, Brian Achuff, Ryan Bor-
aski and Danny Natitus.

SUSAN J. NISKEY of Dallas is
among Ithaca College students who
have been accepted for study at the
College’s London Center in London,
England, for the Spring 1986 semes-
ter.
With a full staff of British profes-
sors, the London Center program
provides courses in British history,
politics, business, literature, com-
munications and the arts which
combine numerous field trips with
regular classroom study.
Niskkey is a sophomore Health
Administration major at Ithaca.

SPEC. 4 JAMES P. PROIETTO,
son of Pat J. and Grace B. Proietto
of 205 Smith St., Dupont, has com-
pleted a U.S. Army primary leader-
ship course while serving with the
72nd Field Artillery in West Ger-
many.
Students received training in
supervisory skills, leadership princi-
ples and small unit training tech-
niques essential to a first-line super-
visor in a technical or
administrative environment.
Proietto, an artillery fire-direction
specialist, is a 1980 graduate of
Pittston Area High School, Yates-
ville.
His wife, Ruth, is the daughter of
Lois Cooper of Trucksville.

departed recently for a concert tour
of Austria and Switzerland with the
Bucknell University Rooke Chapel
Choir.

Mario J. Cornacchione, D.0., has
recently joined Robert Yanoshak, |
D.0., in family practice at the
Geisinger Family Health Center - |
Dallas in the Dallas Shopping |
Center.
Dr. Cornacchione earned a bache-
lor of arts degree in biology from
Alfred University in Alfred, New |
York, where he also received the
H.O. Burdick Research Prize in |
biological science.
Dr. Cornacchione resides in
Edwardsville with his wife, Luanne.

A Bucknell senior, Carson is the
daughter of Larry and Jean Caron,
Center Hill Rd., Dallas.
The choir, noted for its wide
range of spiritual music, will per-
form in the Swiss towns of Lucerne,
Porrentruy, Montreux and Ricken-
bach, and in Salzburg and Goetzens
in Austria. 3

Angela was baptized Saturday
Dec. 28, at the chapel on’ Manor
Drive, Trucksville. She was wel-
comed by Mike Kelley of Mountain-
top. Opening prayer was given by
Gail McPeak.
Sister Remerez gave a talk on
Baptism and Gail Kelley gave a talk
on the Holy Ghost. She was baptized
by Joe McPeak and confirmed by
Elder Bushey. Closing prayer was
given by Sister Morgan.
NAVY SEAMAN RECRUIT
HUGH R. BOYES, son of Ralph and
Peggy L. Anthony of 68 Country
Club Road, Dallas, has completed
recruit training at Naval Recruit
Command, San Diego.
During Boyes’ eight-week training
cycle, he studied general military
subjects designed to prepare him
for further academic and on-the-job
“training in one of the Navy’s 85
basic fields.
Boyes’ studies included seaman-
ship, close order drill, Naval history
and first aid. Personnel who com-
plete this course of instruction are
eligible for three hours of college
credit in Physical Education and
Hygiene.
