Marjorie Marie Wendel, 86, of Pioneer Ave., Trucks-
ville, died December 28 at her daughter’s home in
Dayton, Ohio.
Surviving are her son, Al, Trucksville; daughter,
Mrs. Paul R. King, Dayton, Ohio; nine grandchildren;
six great-grandchildren.
VIOLA MORRIS
Mrs. Viola H. Morris, 95, of RD 2, Hunlock Creek,
Lake Silkworth, died December 26 in Nesbitt Memo-
rial Hospital, Kingston, following a short illness.
Surviving are her brother, Earl, a resident of the
United Methodist Home, Laporte; sister-in-law, Lela,
Wilma and Lola Long; several nieces and nephews.
Her husband, John O. Morris, died in 1974.
Funeral was held December 29 from the Russell P.
McHenry Funeral Home, Dushore, with the Rev.
Robert W. Brown, pastor of the Redeemer United
Church of Christ, Dushore, officiating. Interment,
Fairview Cemetery, Dushore.
RUTH RINGSTROM
Mrs. Ruth M. Ringstrom, 90, a guest at the
Carpenter Care Center, Tunkhannock for almost eight
years, formerly of 26 Orchard St., Trucksville, died
December 23 in the center following a lengthy illness.
Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Barbara Dingle,
Trucksville; son, Alfred C. Ringstrom, Wilmington,
Del.; Mrs. Charlotte Besecker, Forty Fort; Mrs.
Mable Witt, Norfolk, Va.; three grandchildren; one
great-granddaughter.
Private funeral services were held December 27 frm
the McLaughlin Funeral Home, Kingston, with the
Rev. Robert Upton, of the Church of Christ Uniting,
officiating. Interment, Forty Fort Cemetery, Forty
Fort.
ANNA PASTERNAK
Mrs. Anna Pasternak, formerly of 22 Vine St.
Dallas, died December 29 in Lords Hospital, Bingham-
ton, N.Y ., following a brief illness.
Surviving are her sons, Thomas and Edward Paster-
nak, both of Binghamton, N.Y.; daughter, Mrs.
Nicholas Navrilak, Bridgewater, N.J.; stepbrothers,
John Hupczey, Allentown; Joseph Hupczey, Hazleton;
stepsister, Mrs. Emily Kadelak, Hazleton; eight
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held December 2 from the
Mary A. Harostock Funeral Home, Wilkes-Barre, with
Divine Liturgy in St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic
Church. Interment, parish cemetery, Dallas.

Mrs. Christine L. Frantz, 78, of RD 2, Harveys Lake
(Beaumont), died December 30 in Wilkes-Barre Gen-
eral Hospital following a long illness.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Frances Steidin-
ger, Beaumont; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grand-
children; brother, Henry Dendler, Allentown; sisters,
Mrs. Eva Steltz, Danville; Mrs. Dolores Derhammer,
Ruttles; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held January 3 from the
Nulton Funeral Home, Beaumont, with the Rev.
Arthur Redman, a friend of the family, officiating.

John Sheldon Dave Jr., 52, of Pine Tree Road,
Loyalville, died January 5 at his home.
Surviving are his daughter, Denise, Dallas; sister,
Mrs. Jane Stull, Kunkle; one granddaughter,

Dallas, died suddenly January 1 at home.

Barto, both of Chase; Donald Barto, Castle Creek,
N.Y.; sisters, Mrs. Emma Maloney, Mrs. Irene Berg
and Mrs. Josephine Caccia, all of Chase; Mrs. Julie
DeGroat, Syracuse, N.Y.; Mrs. Ann Kreiger, Castle
Creek, N.Y.; three grandchildren.

died January 2 at his home.

Fla.; three grandchildren.

Mrs. Leona A. Oberst, 74, of RD 2, Harveys Lake,
died January 2 in the Nesbitt Memorial Hospital,
Kingston, after being stricken ill at her home.

J., Shavertown; Gary L., Hacienda Heights, Calif.;
daughter, Sara E. Bechetti, Kingston; brothers,
Dorman, Benton; Dean, Hammonds Port, N.Y.; sis-

Benton; nine grandchildren.

Clark E. Diltz, formerly of Franklin Street, Shaver-
town, died January 5 in the Highland Manor NUrsing
Home, Exeter, where he had resided the past four
months.
Surviving is his stepdaughter, Mrs. Miriam Evans,
Shavertown; stepson, Donald Kleinsorge, Bloomsburg;
sister, Mrs. Anna R. Hess, Mifflinville; and several
nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held January 7 from the
Metcalfe and Shaver Funeral Home, Wyoming, with
the Rev. Lynn Rothrock, of St. Paul Lutheran Church,
Shavertown, officiating. Interment, Memorial Shrine
Cemetery, Carverton.
MICHELE AGOSTINI
Mrs. Michele Agostini, 27, of 1689 Huntsville Road,
Shavertown, died January 6 at her home.
Surviving are her parents, Michael and Doris
Ardoline Rostock, Exeter; her husband, David A.;
sister, Mrs. Gary Zavacki, Exeter; maternal grand-
mohter, Mrs. Carrie ARdoline, West Pittston.
Funeral services will be held January 9 from the
Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St.
Cecilia’s Church. Interment, parish cemetery, Exeter.

Walter T. Rezykowski, of Rd 1, Falls, died January 5
at his home.
Surviving are his wife, the former Eleanor Albow-

home; daughters, MRs. Mary Ann Hughes, Archbald;
Mrs. Eleanor Kelly, Falls; brother, Edward, Old
Forge; sister, Mrs. Lena Rulis, Carbondale; five

the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, harding. Inter-
ment, Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton. Friends

Charles D. Young Jr., 49, of Buffalo, N.Y., formerly
of Sweet Valley, died December 14 in Buffalo following
an illness.
Surviving are his mother, Mrs: Ruth Irene Gray
Young; his wife, the former Barbara Ignaczak;
daughters, Mrs. Cindy Lee Reger, Mrs. Kathy Lyn
DeLano, Deneen Irene Young; three grandchildren;
sister, Mrs. Irene Mills; brothers, Dale, Snowden,
Donald, Richard and John Young.
Funeral services were held December 17 from the
Amigone Funeral Home, Inc., with the Rev. Ray
Schuh officiating. Interment was in the Acacia Park
Cemetery.
