® \ ) CONGRATULATIONS TO Mr. and Mrs. Frank Buzin, on the birth of a son Frank John, December 10. Frankie weighed 7 1b. 9 oz. His big sisters, Lori, a first grader at Dallas = Township Elementary School, and Gail, a student at Trin- ity Nursery School are just thrilled with their new brother. NURSERY SCHOOL is now on its Christmas recess. Our last day we presented } a program for the [§ parents followed [fe by a luncheon. | We practiced for | days, singing, singing and more singing. Finally the bit day had arrived. To the tune of Jingle Bells the students marched into the activity room. Both classes did a delightful dance. Then it was time for the three year olds to do their stuff. Wearing antlers (paper, of course) and red noses, they sang Rudolph, The Red Nose Reindeer, to the delight of their parents. The four year olds entertained the audience with “I’m a Star on a Christmas Tree” and “We Are Santa’s Help- ers.” The entire group did a finger play “The Baby Jesus” which was followed by “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” The program went well but what followed was really the highlight for the children. First a faint ringing of bells, louder and louder until Santa made his appearance. Oh! The excite- ment! The wide eyed expressions on the children’s faces. What a sight to behold. Santa sat in a specially designated chair, then each child went up to receive a gift. Most children approached Santa with awe, not even sure whether they should speak to him. Yes, it was a wonderful sight to see! -0- BEST WISHES TO Mr. and Mrs. Jay G. Amory who were recently Mrs. Joseph Meck, Alden.
