YVONNE DEVENS is the daugh-
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas
Devens. Yvonne plans on attending
college majoring in tourism (stew-
ardess or travel agent). Yvonne is
also a co-captain of the varsity
cheerleading squad. In her spare
time she enjoys horseback riding,
spending time with friends, exercis-
ing, shopping, and bike riding.

AMY SHOOK is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Terry Shook. Amy is
going to attend the University of
Scranton with her major being med-
ical technology. Amy has been a
member of the National Honor
Society here at Lehman. In her
spare time she looks forward to
motorcycle riding, swimming, lis-
tening to music, bike riding, shop-
ping and spending time with S. Ray
Wandel.

THE LAKE-LEHMAN BLACK
KNIGHTS football team posted
their sixth victory on Saturday at
Lehman. The Knights defeated the
Bishop Hoban Argents by a.score of
7-0. The only score of the game was
made by Bill George on a 35-yard
run up the middle. Scott Shaffer’s
extra point attempt was successful.
The victory insures the Knights
their first winning season in a
number of years.

THE OLD SHOE GAME between
Lehman and Dallas is to be played
on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. The
two schools are preparing for the
game with various activities
throughout the week. The game is to
be played at the Dallas Senior High
Dr. James H. Ryan, Campus
Executive Officer, has ‘announced
that a unique career guidance pro-
gram at the Pennsylvania State
University Wilkes-Barre Campus
has won a grant of $60,000 from the
Pennsylvania Bureau of Vocational
Education.
Now in its fourth year, the Oppor-
tunities in Technology program has
been partially funded by the state
since its inception.

DAWN ROTHROCK
KAREN SARAKA is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Saraka of
Trucksville. Her leisure-time activi-
ties include the church Quiz Team
and Youth Group. She also likes
walking. As Karen looks forward to
graduation, she plans to work in the
House of Representatives in the
future.

BETH SUTCAVAGE, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sutcavage,
resides in Trucksville. She is a
member of the yearbook, prop
crew, construction crew, and likes
to sew. Beth has won various
awards in Art in and out of school.
She would like a job in television,
movies or the commercial art field.
Beth has already been commis-
sioned to paint pictures.

LISA BOBACK is the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Boback of
Dallas. She is currently a member
of the yearbook staff, Student Coun-
cil, and the senior steering commit-
tee. During her leisure time Lisa
works at the Dallas Acme. She
would like to pursue a career in
engineering after graduation.

WALLY GAUTHIER is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Gauthier of
Dallas. He is a forward and is a
prominent scorer for the Dallas
soccer team. Wally is also involved
in track and volleyball. He received
the NEDT award in both ninth and
tenth grade. In his leisure time he
likes to go out with his friends.
Future plans include achieving a
masters degree in Computer Sci-
ence at either Scranton University
or La Salle.

AFTER WEEKS of hard practice,
the Dallas Marching Band traveled
to Langhorne, PA to compete in the
Atlantic Coast Championships. They
placed sixth out of 24 bands with a
score of 85.65. Congratulations!

Footbal Iteam will play Lake-
Lehman for the Old Shoe on Satur-
day at 2 p.m. at Lehman. The
cheerleaders are working on a bon-
fire for Friday and the band will
perform at an outdoor pep rally on
Friday also.
REPORT CARDS are due out

The Mountain Lions Booster Club
will hold its second annual Games
Night on Friday, Nov. 15, from 7
p.m. to 11 p.m. in the Student
Commons at the Penn State campus
in Lehman. Jack Monick, club pres-
ident, announced that the event is
