Mr. Balavage, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Balavage, Shavertown, is a graduate of Dallas Senior High school, attended Penn State Wilkes- Barre Campus and received an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Luzerne County Community College. The 64th annual reunion of the descendants of John and Rachel Bulford, early pioneers of the Back Mountain area was held Aug. 18 in the Bloomingdale Grange Hall. In 1922, the first reunion was held at Fernbrook Park. Following the covered dish picnic dinner a business meeting was called to order with President Garry Miers presiding. Treasurer’s report was given by Hazel Crockett, and the historian’s report by Thelma Norrie. Helen Franklin recorded the minutes. The following received silver dol- lars as prizes.
