“AUNT
PA Y'
DEAR AUNT PATTY:
I am nine years old and I have a
question I have been wondering
about for a long time. Why do I
always find something I am looking
for in the last place I look?
D. FROM DALLAS
DEAR D. FROM DALLAS:
Because once you find something
you have no need to continue look-
ing. Therefore, you found it in the
last place you looked. Hopefully
your memory will improve to the
point where yow’ll find most things
in the first place you look.
DEAR AUNT PATTY:
I don’t want any advice - I just
want to comment. There is a sign in
the center of Dallas at the Post
Office that says Congradulations
Class of 1985. I wonder how many
1985 Dallas graduates noticed con-
gratulations is spelled incorrectly. I
bet not many!
LAUGHING IN LEHMAN
DEAR AUNT PATTY:
I have a sweet newborn baby. I
fell silly asking my doctor so I
wondered if you could tell me why
all babies have a soft spot on top of
their heads?
NEW MOM

have little hair. A baby’s head is not
finished growing either. The soft
spot is there to leave room for the
bones in the baby’s head to grow
along with the rest of its body.
your doctor any questions you may
have about your baby and its devel-
opment. Your question is not silly!
