18 THE DALLAS POST/Wednesday, May 15, 1985 Awards presented College Misericordia presented Student Leadership awards to William Jones and David Payne, Jr. at the college's annual awards dinner. William Jones, a senior business administration major, served as student government vice president and was chairman of Misericordia’s 60th anniver- sary parade. Jones, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph ‘‘Red’’ Jones of Dallas, was also selected to Who's Who Among Students in Universities and Colleges. David Payne, Jr. was cited for outstanding leadership as president of student government. A senior business administration major, he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Payne, Sr. of Harveys Lake. Lesley Locascio was high salesman receiving a 1500 savings bond while Michael Vozniak received a $100 savings bond as second highest and Mary Ann Selenski received a $75 savings bond for third place. More than 150 students who sold $40 or more were eligible for nickel dips and the portable TV drawing. The TV was was by Richard Klick. The homeroom with the most sales was Mrs. Nutlon's third grade class which was treated to a ‘‘Make Your Own Sundae Party.”’ Candy chairman was Karen Miller. Andrea Book Fair held The Dallas Township PTO held its annual Book Fair recently in the school’s gym. STudents were given the opportunity to select and buy books of their choice. Shown here are members of Mrs. Roeder’s first grade class as they select their books. Jane Marsola was the book fair chairman. Andrea Molski is the president of the PTO. Science Fair held Students® at the Wyoming Seminary Lower School, Forty Fort, recently participated in the schools’ science fair. There were more than 150 individual entries from students in grades 1 through 8. There was also a group display prepared and presented by the entire Kindergarten elass. Following a Chemistry “Magic Show’’, students chose to attiend four out of 16 workshops preserited throughout the evening. A diriner was served to all participants by ' the Hanover Area High School cafeteria staff. The workshop was an enjoya- ble and enlightening evening for all.
