It was a very nice evening! 0 THE STUDENTS OF TRINITY NURSERY SCHOOL honored their 675-0835 mothers with a tea on Thursday. A short performance included a rendi- tion of Bingo by the four year old am. and p.m. rhythm band, two recitations by the three year old class, Two Little Birds and Ten Little Fingers. Combined classes sang “Mothers You Are Special”, which was very touching. Following the program, we enjoyed a luncheon. Each mom received handmade placemats, sometimes featuring their pictures (you should see mine) and special handmade cards from their chil- dren. As a remembrance, each mother received a bagonia plant. William J. Byron, S.J., president of Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C., will be theprinci- pal speaker at College Misericor- dia’s commencement exercises to campus. Reverend Byron, former presi- dent of the University of Scranton, will be awarded an honorary Doctor of Laws degree, in recognition of his service to mankind, at the college’s 59th commencement convocation. His active board memberships include trustee responsibilities at Loyola University of New Orleans and Loyal University of Chicago.
