A SPECIAL EDUCATION NIGHT
FOR ADULTS will be sponsored by
the Office of Continuing Education
at Luzerne County Community Col-
lege on Thursday evening, April 25,
from 7 to 9.
The main purpose of the program
is to allow the potential adult stu-
dent the opportunity to learn about
college life and its relationship to
him or her. Each college academic
department will be represented at
the program to allow for any ques-
tions or information that is needed
by the adult students.

FREE MSP (MOTORCYCLE
SAFETY PROGRAM) rider courses
are being scheduled for Luzerne
County starting on May 14. The 17
hour course is being offered through
the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation to. promote . better
safety habits when riding a ‘motor-
cycle.
MSP rider courses are designen to
give all residents of ‘the state the
opportunity to learn to ride a motor-
cycle safely and competently. Seven
hours of instruction will take place
in’ the classroom while ‘the - ‘remain-
ing 10 hours will be’ spent on actual

own motorcycle. Bikes are provided
by MSP and by local dealers
through dealer loan programs.,
