Donna Sorber of Pikes Creek
enjoys spending time in her kitchen
preparing all kinds of ‘goodies’ for
her husband and two sons.
“I like to cook, especially baking
cakes, pies and other desserts.
Experimenting with new recipes is
a hobby of mine. I really enjoy
preparing my family’s favorite reci-
pes,” said Donna.
She said her two sons, Bart, 14,
student at Lake-Lehman High
Sorbe
School, and Brett 11, student at
Lake-Noxen Elementary, have
hearty appetites and, like her hus-
band, Rodney, will eat most any-
thing.
The former Donna Hoover, she
also enjoys reading novels and lis-
tening to Country Western music.
During the spring and summer,
Donna enjoys gardening. She is also
a member of the Ladies Country
League and bowls every Tuesday
night from September to May.
She and Rodney and the boys
enjoy camping and during the
season they spend time at their
cabin at Mountain Springs where
they usually go fishing.
During the winter the entire
family enjoys snowmobiling when
there is enough snow.
