If you are planning a trip outside of the United States this summer, there is a very important matter to attend to before you buy your ticket and pack your bag. That most important matter is getting a birth certificate. A birth certificate is required to get a passport and getting both takes time. Persons needing these documents should begin the process at trip to avoid disappointment. Travelers to Canada, Mexico and the Carribean don’t need passports but, according to Charles Hardester, director of the Division of Vital Records in the state Health Department, they definitely do need a birth certificate to prove citizenship. ss" YES! At the time Eason opened his business, his wife, Carol, owned and operated a beauty salon above the store. Since that time, the Eason’s have made many changes in their business including increased inven- tory, expansion inside and outside, and moving Carol’s beauty shop to street level, adjacent to the store.
