Late-evening meal
Waitress Linda Brucher serves Cheryl and James Richard-
son while the couple enjoys a delightful late-evening meal at
the Brittany House, Trucksville.
Brittany House is
experience you'll
long remember
By Joan Kingsbury
Staff Correspondent
The Brittany House Restaurant on Memorial Highway in Trucks-
ville invites you to a dining experience you will long remember.
Your host at the Brittany House is Ed McCabe, former owner of the
Alberdeen Inn in Mountaintop where he carried on a tradition of fine
dining for nine years.
Three separate areas are set aside for dining at the Brittany
House. Candlelit tables set -for fine dining create a warm
atmosphere as you enjoy a delicious meal or sip your favorite
cocktail. Drinks may also be enjoyed in the cocktail lounge area.
Private parties for up to 25 people can easily be accommodated in
the largest of the dining areas.
In the year and a half that it has been in operation, Brittany
House has become known for its fine cuisine. McCabe prepares
steak, seafood, veal and chicken specialties like Veal Marsala and
Crab AuGratin. Jumbo lump crabmeat dishes are a house specialty
as are a variety of homemade desserts including Marble Cheese-
cake. :
Reservations are suggested at the Brittany House where you can
dine Tuesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on
Sundays from 12 to 6 p.m.
