Other winners for Lehman were Don Spencer who decisioned Bob Thomas 8-5 a great 6-5 decision by Ed Statford over Willie Norton and a 5-0 decision by Norm Clancy over Dave Kratz. This set up the final and decisive match of the evening between two of the area’s fine heavyweights Charles VanGorder and Daryl Boich. Bloomsburg University’s brother combination of Rick and Rocky Bonomo have been selected as members of the East team for the East-West All Star Wrestling Match scheduled for Monday, Feb. 4, at Utah State University, Logan, Utah. The annual event, which features the nation’s top wrestlers in a dual match format, is set for 7 p.m. Mountain Time (9 p.m.EDT) in Utah State’s 10,200 seat Spectrum. The duo’s selection makes Bloomsburgh the only eastern uni- versity to have more than one performer selected to the squad. Iowa, currently ranked as the coun- try’s top team, led all teams with five all-star choices while Oklahoma State and the Huskies each had two selections. In the 118-1b. bout, Rick-who is ranked number three in the weight class--will face top ranked Mark Perry of Oklahoma State. The Huskies’ sophomore enters this weekend’s Pennsylvania Conference Championships with a record of 22- 2. His performance includes five falls, eight technical falls and nine decisions. Rocky will face Barry Davis of Iowa in the 126 1b. match. Davis is ranked first and was a silver medal- ist at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, while Bonomo is rated third and has a perfect 25-0 record to date.
