BEST WISHES to Dr. and Mrs.
Mahmoud Fahmy who celebrated
their 25th wedding anniversary Dec.
21.
Dr. Fahmy, a native of Cairo,
Egypt and his wife Iran, a native of
the northwest corner or Iran met
while they were students at Colum-
bia University, New York City.
The Fahmys, who live in Shrine
Acres, have three children, Roya,
‘Raef and Rhonda.
Dr. Fahmy is director of Gradu-
ate Studies and Continuing Educa-
tion at Wilkes College. Mrs. Fahmy
is the Supervisor and Instructional
Advisor of Special Education at
Intermediate Unit 18.
The couple was honored at a
surprise anniversary party to cele-
brate the occasion.

The Timeks renewed their wed-
ding vows at a special Mass cele-
brated by Bishop James Timlin at
St. Ignatius Church, Kingston.

technologist for -the A.E. Kirby
Memorial Health Center, Wilkes-
Barre.
Mr. Ryan, a graduate of Central
Catholic High School, attended Penn
State University and is pursuing a
Communications-Journalism degree
at King’s College. He is employed
as a laundry supervisor at the State
Correctional Institution, Chase.
Following a wedding trip to Ocean
City, Md. the Ryans are residing in
Forty Fort. They have planned a
motorcycle tour of the European
Alps at a later date.

people in area hospitals and nursing homes. This is the 17th
year employees have donated time, money and gifts to
make the holidays a little brighter for people who must

the marriage of Gloria Grosky and
Ray Crane, both of Sweet Valley.
