Lorena Beniquez RAYMOND EPLEY is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Epley of Dallas. Raymond is a percussionist for the Dallas marching band and he has been involved with the band since sixth grade. He is also study- ing the field of intelligence commu- nications in the Army National * Guard. Ray enjoys experimenting with mechanics and electronics in his free time. His future plans include attending the Lincoln Tech- nical Institute while continuing with the Army National Guard. -0- MARK FARRELL is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Farrell of Dallas. Mark is captain of the bas- ketball team and also a member of the baseball team. Mark currently holds a part time job at Rave'’s . Garden Center. In his free time, Mark enjoys listening to his fvorite rock groups, Boston and Genesis. After graduation, Mark plans to attend the University of Scranton to study Economics and Finance. -0- MARY FARRELL is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farrell, of Midland Drive in Dallas. Mary is very active. She has helped to coach the junior varsity cheerleaders, is a member of the steering committee, a football statistician and she was voted first runner-up on the Home- coming Court. Mary will represent Dallas at the Unico game this summer. After graduation, Mary plans to major in psychology at Bloomsburg University. -0- MICHAEL FARRELL is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Farrell of Dallas. Mike's activities include hiking, camping and competitive cycling, a sport which he has partic- ipated in for the past three years. He has also been a member of the track and field for four years. Mike’s future plans include attend- ing Pennsylvania State University to major in architecture. i DAVID GARBER is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Garber of James Street in Shavertown. Dave is the band president and drum major of the district champion marching band. He has participated in district band for three years and went to regionals in 1983. Dave is a member of the drama club and the National Honor Society. In his free | time, he enjoys listening to the Beatles and Rush. DALLAS STUDENTS have been voicing their concern over the lack of “B” schedules. Presently there is these schedules allow for club peri- ods. Without at least two ‘“B”’ sched- ules a week it is impossible for students to participate in activities which will mold them into well- rounded students. Pow Wow held Dallas Post/Joan Kingsbury Thanksgiving holiday. The Tinity Nursery School held a Thanksgiving Pow Wow on Novem- ber 21, to celebrate the first Thanks- giving feast. They have studied the Indian way of life, and the Pilgrims a Campus hosts and the first Thanksgiving feast. The chilren wore Pilgrim hats, collars, Indian head feathers, and necklaces all made in connection with the studies. The Nursery School is located in Church Street, Dallas. Scouts from colleges such as Kent State, Syracuse, Villnova, Princeton, Drexel, and many other major col- leges were in attendance to look at the talent our area has to offer. The game ended in 0-0 tie.
