Planning Ball
Wilkes-Barre General Hospital Auxiliary’s Patron Committee recently met at the Westmoreland

campus, in connection with BY-
LIONS, the campus newsletter, will
hold a “Woody Allen Film Week-
end” at the campus in Lehman on
November 29, 30 and December 1.
The films to be shown will be
Sleeper and Bananas, two of Allen’s
funniest works.
Sleeper will be shown twice: on
November 29 at 7 p.m. and on
November 30 at 11 a.m. Bananas
will be shown on November 30 at 7
p.m. Both films will make up a
‘“‘double feature” on December 1 at
7 p.m. Admission for the single
shows is $2.00 for the general public,
$1.00 for students; for the ‘‘double-
feature’’: $3.00 for the general
public and $2.00 for students.
The films will be shown in the
Bierly Auditorium and refreshment
will be available. Everyone is
invited to attend.
THE LUZERNE COUNTY 4-H
HORSE ADVISORY COMMITTEE
will be presenting a film ‘‘Survival
of the Fittest” on Nov. 11, at 3 p.m.,
room 101 in the Stark Learning
Center at Wilkes College. A judge
will be present for a question and
answer period at the end of the film.

pliments of the Riding-Ho 4-H Club.

TICKET ORDERS are still being
accepted for the Broadway Theatre
of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s
1984-85 25th anniversary season. The
season gets underway November
9th with GIGI. Subscriptions will be

1, and subscribers will be entitled to
purchase preferred seating loca-
tions and select the performance of
their choice, based on availability.

Playhouse, 196 Hughes Street, Swoy-
ersville, will host The Mock Turtle
Marionette Theater of Bethlehem,
for three performances on Nov. 16
and 17.
Admission is only $5.00 per

price is a MacDonald Fun Meal--
hamburger, fries and soft drink!
Performances are Friday, Nov. 16
at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 17 at 1

Students plan
hoagie sale
Students at the Wyoming Semi-
nary Lower School, Forty Fort
recently conducte a hoagie sale to
raise funds for the Parents’ Associa-
tion. Funds raised from Parents’
Association projects, which include
the annual rummage sale and
sports equipment sale, will be used
to purchase various educational
aids for the school.
More than 2,000 hoagies were
sold. Students in the kindergarten
and third grade classes who partici-
pated included kneeling, from left,
