SPASER, a 1976 4 graduate of Dallas Senior High School, has completed the tactical microwave systems repairer course at the U.S. Army Signal Schools, Fort Gordon, Ga. The course provides instructions for soldiers to install and operate microwave radios and multiplexing equipment. During the 36 weeks of training, soldiers also received training in the installation and operation of inter- connection of components and power units, tuning receivers, and transmitters, maintenance of effi- ciency of circuilts, and safety proce- dures. -0- SCOTT E. He is a member of 2nd Battalion, 6th Marines, 2nd Marine Division, Camp Lejeune, N.C. ~ His unit will spend six months overseas as part of the Marine Corps’ unit deployment program. The concept is designed to rotate whole battalions or squadrons at a time instead of individuals at sepa- rate intervals. SCHALL, son of Bar- bara and Ronald Schall Sr. of Route 5, Shavertown, was one of over 600 U.S. Navy Midshipmen from the U.S. Naval Academy and NROTC Universities across the country who participated in summer training cruises aboard ships of the U.S. Seventh Fleet. The annual cruises augment classroom studies and give prospec- tive Naval officers a preview of their future. During the training cruise mid- shipmen work in a number of ship- board jobs, gaining valuable practi- cal experience.
