ters, Beth and Patricia at home;
Mrs. Cheryl McCue, Lehman;
brother, Robert Shotwell, Shaver-
town; three grandchildren.

Rev. Lynn A. Rothrock, pastor of
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, officiat-
ing. Interment, Chapel Lawn Memo-
rial Park, Dallas.

Capt. Budd C. Hirleman, 76, of 184
Ferguson Ave., Shavertown, died
Sept. 23, following a lengthy illness.
Surviving are his wife, the former
Catherine Long; son, Frank, at
home; daughters, Mrs. Barbara
Hann, Bridgewater, N.J.; Mrs.
Joyce Eckerd, Bethlehem; sisters,
Mrs. Edith Hess and Mrs. Gladys
Walker, both of Benton; three
grandchildren.
Funeral will be held Wednesday
at 11 am. from the Richard H.
Disque Funeral Home, 672 Memo-
rial Highway, Dallas. Interment will
be in Waller Cemetery, Benton.

Thelma A. Lamoreux, 77, form-
erly of 42nd Street, Idetown, died
Sept. 20 at the Heritage Hall Nurs-
ing Center, Fredericksburg, Va.
Surviving is a son, Lee, Linden,
Va.; brother, James Carr Jr., Ster-
ling, N.Y.; sisters, Mrs. Eva Hen-
dershot, Luzerne; Mrs. Frances
Layou, Dallas; one grandson.
Funeral was held Sept. 27 from
the Richard H. Disque Fruneral
Home, Dallas, with interment in
Mount Greenwood Cemetery,
Trucksville.

Anna E. wilcox, 84, of RD 4,
Dallas, died Sept. 19 in Wilkes-
Barre General Hospital.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
Dorothy Bennett, with whom she
resided; six grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.

27 in St. Luke’s Episcopal Church,
Fort Myers, Florida, a church she
formerly attended while living in
Florida.

Kingston.

dren.

illness.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs.
Catherine Story, Centermoreland,

phen, East Dallas; nine grandchil-
dren, 17 great-grandchildren. She
was preceded in death by her hus-
band, Andrew; and daughters,
Mary Maceiko and Anna Strazdus.
