Dallas Intermediate School stu-
dents will begin school on Tuesday,
Aug. 28.
Some of the district’s fourth grade
students have been permanently
assigned to the Intermediate School.
All fifth and sixth grade students
will attend the Intermediate School.
The professional staff of the build-
ing will participate in in-service
orientation programs prior to the
opening of school to provide a suc-
cessful initiation of the school year.
Parents are reminded that on
August 28 Intermediate students
will be attending full day sessions
from 9:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Parents
should consult the bus routes pub-
lished in the newspapers to deter-
mine their child’s bus assignment
and departure points.
It is requested that students ride a
bus to and from school the first day
to facilitate student awareness of
their bus assignment and to aid the
district in maintaining accurate and
comprehensive student bus riding
records. If it is necessary for a
for first day
parent to accompany a child to
school it is suggested that the stu-
dent ride the bus and the parent
meet the student at the school
building.
To facilitate student room assign-
ments the first day, the following
fourth and fifth grade students i
the building will report to the cafet-~

report to their assigned homerooms.
Lists will be posted in the halls to
