Wagner, Dallas Senior High school yearbook advisor, reminds the class of 1985 that appointments for senior portraits must be made with the photogra- pher by Sept. 1 to assure their appearance in the 1985 yearbook. The yearbook staff requires a 214 x 3-inch black and white glossy. The 1984 yearbook was completed as of June 15 and should be deliv- ered to the school in late August. Notification of its arrival will be made in The Dallas Post and stu- dents are asked not to call the school. Folk Festival has new phone number A new toll-free number for infor- mation and tickets has been added to the Philadelphia Folk Festival. The Festival, a three-day event comprising music, dance, crafts, grams, will take place August 24 to 26 on the Old’ Poole Farm near Schwenksville, Pa. The new toll-free telephone lines for information and tickets are, for calls inside Pennsylvania, 1-800-422- FOLK; outside Pennsylvania the number is 1-800-556-FOLK. Volunteers retire Two women who have been dedicated Girl Scout volunteers recently retired from their positions as Neighborhood Service Unit Directors. Alice Niskey served Neighborhood No: 24 and Dorothy Wadas served Neighborhood No. 25 which cover the Back Mountain area of Penn’s Woods Girl Scout Council. Both women are members of the Shavertown Methodist Church and have been active as Girl Scout Troop Leaders as well as holding every Girl Scout volunteer office over the years. They were honored at a Neighborhood Covered Dish supper at the Shavertown Methodist Church. He graduated from Wilkes-Barre Business College, the Stonier Gradu- ate School of Banking at Rutgers University, and the Pennsylvania Bankers Association School at Buck- nell University.
