Irv Bluhm and Bill Flock aced the
seventh and 17th holes respectively
during the final round. Flock won a
new car for his efforts.
There will be a lot of aggressive
play and many players will be goind

prize money.
“We'll set the course up to be
very competitive all three rounds,”
says Irem Pro Barry Fies. “We
expect to have the course in tip-top
condition compared to last year
when it was burnt out because of a
lack ‘of rain. Our greens are holding
the shots very well and the putting
surface will be slick.
If the weatherman cooperates
there could be another birdie shoot
at Irem.
