Department will hold its annual
Firemen’s Bazaar on July 26, 27 and
28.
Thursday, July 26, there will be a
Chicken Barbecue from 5 p.m. till 12

Friday, July 27, music will be by
West Wind from 8 till 12 p.m.
Saturday, July 29, there will be a
Firemen’s Parade at 6 p.m., line-up
will be at Commonwealth Telephone

Telephone Company to Kunkle Fire Hall
in Kunle. Anyone wishing to enter the
parade is welcome.

Wilkes-Barre Rotary Club Annual
Outing at the Irem Temple Country
Club for the Wyoming Valley Crip-
pled Children’s Association and
United Cerebral Palsy of Wyoming
Valley recently.
The Wilkes-Barre Rotarians are
to be congratulated because they
had a record breaking turnout and
everyone ‘‘pitched in’ to help make
this big day the success it was.

Northeastern Pennsylvania will hold its
annual ‘“Marathon’’ on Aug. 11, at
Luzerne County Community College in
Nanticoke.
Workshops will be conducted, the
program will be outlined to newcomers,
and speakers from out-of-state as well
as the Northeastern area have been
scheduled for the day.
Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
