Honored guests were: Youngest father - Don Williams; Oldest father, Herbert Phillips; Father with youngest child, Tom Williams; Father with oldest child, Wilbur Hoyt; father with youngest grand- child, Butch Gray; Father with oldest child and youngest and oldest great grandchildren, Wilbur Hoyt. The program consisted of selec- tions by The Meadowlarks, The Kitchen Band and vocal solos by Eleanor Cragle and Wilbur Hoyt. The residents of the Meadows Apartments held their first summer cookout on June 26. The menu consisted of hot dogs, hamburgs, potato salad, baked beans, relishes, ice cream, soda, ice tea, coffee and tea. The committee for the cookout included George Bartorillo, Wilbur Hoyt, mayor Phillips and Mike Manganello and Gertrude Hoyt as outdoor chefs; Florence Shively, Clara Troxell, Ruth Foley, Eleanor Cragle, Mildred Cheney, Dorothy Valent, Ann Dymond, Ruth Muchler, Minnie Hazleton, and Sarah Williams as kitchen and dining room aides. Prizes awarded to the winners of Croquet - Wilbur Hoyt; water bal- loon toss - Eleanor Montross, Betty Kunkle, Ann Branch and Bill Kirk; Egg toss - Barbara Williams, Herb Phillips, Sarah and Don Williams; bean toss - Ruth Muchler, and George Bartorillo; shuffle-board-- Betty Kunkle and Bill Kirk; lawn darts - Betty Kunkle and Theta Dickson; bingo--Millie Dreher, Edith Coslett, Charles Coslett, Ann Hall.
