Delinsky presiding.
Mrs. Delinsky conducted a short
business meeting and presented the
following slate of officers for the
1984-85 school year: President,
Peggy Phillips, vice president,
Eleanor Yanalunas, secretary,
Donna Kachmar and treasurer,
Sandra Richardson. There were no
nominations from the floor and the
slate of officers were elected unani-
mously.
Sharon Dietz, Sales Representa-
tive of Holt, Rinehart and Winston
gave a presentation of the New Holt
Science Series the Dallas School
District is adopting.
Larry and Jane Griffin gave a
talk on Drug and Alcohol Use as
seen by their students.
Parents were then asked to view
the student art show.
Competing with top schools in the
state in the Pennsylvania Mathe-
matics League’s Annual Elemen-
tary Grades Contest, the Dallas
Intermediate School’s Sixth Grade
Team, of Alex Case, Harry Haskell,
Tara Ehst, Darren Michael, and
Roseanne Rostock, was recently
notified that their team had placed
3rd in Luzerne County. .

least 132 points or better to be in the
first quartile.
Other high scores were made by
Jerry Searfoss of the fifth grade and
Eric Lehman of the fourth grade.
