A wy swe Wilkes-Barre General Hospital recently received a Governor’s Traffic Safety Award from the Com- monwealth of Pennsylvania for its In a joint venture between Gen- eral Hospital and the Valley Auto- mobile Club (AAA), General Hospi- tal educates parents on the importance of infant safety seats during its Prepared Childbirth Mother’s Classes and during the mother’s hospital stay. Educational pamphlets, plus a “pre- scription” for one rental car seat, are distributed to the parents. The Valley Automobile Club pro- vides the rental car seats to parents who present the ‘prescription a driver’s license and no-fault insur- ance card at the Club’s office, 100 Hazle Street, Wilkes-Barre.
