Seminar set
Two Pennsylvanians preview an informational display that
will be a part of an export and overseas investment seminar
to be held at The Woodlands Inn and Resort in Wilkes-Barre
on May 3, from 9 am. to 1:30 p.m. The Economic
Development Council of Northeastern Pennsylvania and the
Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce are cooperat-
ing with the International Trade Administration of the United
States Department of Commerce and WINVEST - a British
Government industrial development agency - in sponsoring
this event. There will be no charge for the seminar, but
since a lunch will be provided as part of the program, only
those with reservations will be served. To make reservations
no later than April 27 or to obtain additional information,
contact Charles Naples at the Economic Development
Council of Northeastern Pennsylvania (717) 655-5581.

their intention to enact an

Building, Dallas, said Ordinance
to become effective May. 25,
BE IT ENACTED AND
ORDAINED by Dallas Borough,
Luzerne Coy, Pennsylvania,
and it is hereby enacted and
ordained by the Authority of the
same, as follows:
1. The following sections of the
Zoning Ordinance of Dallas Bor-
ough are hereby rescinded and
repealed: Section 6.0431, Sec-
tion 6.0432, Section 6.0433,
Section 6.0434, Section 6. 0435.
2. The following new provisions
are adopted and incorporated
into the Zoning Ordinance of
Dallas Borough:
6.0431 Outdoor Advertise-
ments are limited to B-1, B-2 and
M-1 Districts.
6.0432 Adjacent to Selected
Uses or Districts - No outdoor
advertisement shall be permitted
within 200 feet of any residence
district, nor facing any public or
parochial school, library, ‘church,
hospital or similar institutional
use if closer than 200 feet.
6.0433 Spacing

square foot area, except that no
two such advertisements shall be
close to one another than 120

6.0434 Setbacks - Outdoor
advertisements shall conform
with all yard spaces required for
the district in which they are

ments, exclusive of structural
supports and trim, shall not
exceed in square feet, four times
the frontage of the lot or tract on
which it or they stand, nor shall
any individual advertisement of a
poster panel exceed 100 square
feet. Where a lot or tract is
already occupied by a use or
structure exhibiting signs, the
total surface area of signs and
outdoor advertisgments shall not
exceed in square feet, four times
the lot frontage.
Said Ordinance shall be effec-
tive 10 days from the date of its
enactment.
