The Dallas Township Elementary School recently held an
Easter Candy Sale. Mrs. Judy Donlin, President of the
P.T.O., has announced the following winners: 1st prize,
Ronald Moses, who was awarded a $100 savings bond; 2nd
prize, Jennifer Gray, who was awarded a $75 savings bond;
3rd prize, Jason Mattey, who was awarded a $25 saviohs
bond. In addition, the following boys and girls were awarded
prizes for their high sales. Nicole Mazurek, Nicki Kozick,
Jennifer Gray, Kevin Mikula, Tommy Jesso, Janeen Seitz,
Quentin Reese, Amy Layaou, Kathleen Krench, Kara
Woztowicz, Amy Miers, Jeff Hozempa, David Bulford,
Ronnie Moses, Mike Wagner; Judy Kirkendall, Mike Handley.
Highest homeroom, Mr. Ciarucci, was given a pizzaparty.
The proceeds of the candy sale will be used by the PTO to

John Hudak Jr. has been named
to the Dean’s List at Johnson and
Wales College in Providence, Rhode
Island.
John recently completed his fresh-
man year in Culinary Arts at John-
son and Wales and is now eligible to
become a member of the Silver Key
(Honor) Society for achieving
Dean’s List status for each trimes-
ter.
The son of John and Alice Hudak
of Dallas, John entered Johnson and
Wales following his completion of
the Culinary course at Luzerne
County Community College. He is a
1982 graduate of Lake-Lehman High
School.
John will be spending the Easter
weekend with his parents.

aid” forms for the academic year
1984-85 are available from his dis-
trict offices.
Also available are copies of the
“Student Guide” ‘which explains the
five U.S. Department of Education
programs, including PELL Grants,
supplemental educational opportun-
ity grants, college work ‘study,
national direct student loans and
guaranteed student loans-PLUS
loans. :
The application forms and accom-
panying guides can be picked up by
stopping by at any one of Congress-
man Harrison’s five district offices
which are located at Ten East South
Street, Wilkes-Barre; 19 East Broad
Street, Hazleton; Pittston City Hall,
Pittston; 37 West Main Street,
Bloomsburg; and 40 South Market
Street, Shamokin.
