Taking a quick lead in the begin- ning of the game by outscoring their opponents, 16-5 in the opening period, the Dallas girls sat on top of a 26-15 halftime score and never looked back. The final 30 seconds saw Lehman’s Kim Fey and Ronda Hudzik making four free throws to give the Lady Knights the edge. Dallas tied the score at 46-all with just 30 seconds remaining, after battling back from a 39-32 deficit at the end of three periods. Fey, who finished the game with 12 points, was successful on two attempts from the charity line to put the Lehman girls up. Dallas then missed the front end of a one- and-one. Hudzik then made two foul shots to ice the victory. The Dallas girls’ basketball team was scheduled to be at Crestwood last night and will host West Side Tech on Feb. 23 in the final confer- ence game of the season.
