Participants came from all types of educational settings including schools, colleges, the military, business and government, and had the opportunity to choose from among 225 concurrent sessions planned by the sponsors, the American Association for Adult and Continuing Education (AAACE), and the host affiliate, The Pennsylvania Association for Adult Continuing Education (PAACF). Topics discussed included basic literacy, computer literacy, professional development, com- munity-based education and bilingual services.
