Malkames, of Dallas, who retired at
the end of the Fall Semester as

completed
their annual SPCA Food Drive. The
students contributed canned and dry
dog food and cat food, towels, blan-
kets and money or the benefit of the
SPCA. Among those participating in
the program were Tracy Richard-
son, Rose Wong, Lindsey Krivenko,
Heather Billman, Kim Andrews,
Matthew, Balberchak, James Mil-
iauskas and Patricia Chismer.

MR. AND MRS. ALLEN
BRAGUE and twins Kim and
David, age 3! have returned to
their -home in Roanoke, Virginia
following a visit with relatives for
the holidays.
The Bragues enjoyed Christmas
Dinner at the home of Mr.
Braugue’s sister and her husband,
Linda and Jim Ross and their son,
Jonathon. They also visited with his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. George
Brague, Woodlawn Avenue, Dallas,
throughout the holiday season.

LAKE SILKWORTH LIONS
CLUB recently inducted new mem-
bers, John Potosky and Dr. M.
David Preston. Participating in the
initiation were Marty Stefanski,
past district governor, Lake Silk-
worth Lions Club, Steve Lipka and
Leonard Karas.
The Lake Silkworth Lions Club
recently presented a check for the
Lions Wills Eye Hospital Pavilion,
Philadelphia. This local club has
been a leader in the support of the
Wills Eye Hospital and eye
research.

Francis O. Long, Sr., Idetown Rd.,
Dallas, who observed their 30th
wedding anniversary January 1.
Mrs. Long is the former Barbara J.
Sanders.
The Longs are parents of four
children, Francis O.,-Jr., Montours-
ville; Larry W. Kennewick, Wash.;
Suzanne M. Robbins, Lock Haven
and Daniel M., Lehman. They also
have one grandchild, Marshall F.
Long, Kennewick, Wash.
The Longs were honored at a
family gathering at their home to
celebrate the occasion.

sultant for Entre Computer Center,
E. Market St., Wilkes-Barre.
Her responsibilities at Entre
include diagnosis of customer
needs, preparation of tailored soft-

A graduate of Babson College,
Wellesley, Mass., Mrs. Davidowitz
holds a bachelor’s degree in busi-
ness administration.She is a
member of Hadassah, Temple
Israel Concert Committee and the
Jewish « Community Center Adult
Education Committee. She is mar-
ried to Jeffrey L. Davidowitz.

States Air Force at Wilkes College
by Major Raymond M. Fox. Tina,
who recently completed her course
at Wilkes for a degree in elemen-
tary education, will spend six
months at Lowery Air Force Base,
Denver, Colo. where she will begin
a career in imagery intelligence.
Students at Dallas Intermediate
School remeber Tina from her stu-
dent teaching there last year.

Lake visited Wilkes-Barre General
Hospital recently for a tour of the
facilities. The girls were given
future doctor and future nurse caps
to wear, toured pediatrics, the
Emergency Department, Radiology,
the Operating Room and Obstetrics
Andrea Picchi and Pat Sandstrom
are Troop leaders.

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE JUNIOR LEAGUE of
Wilkes-Barre recently approved a
request of $300 for Operation
R.I.LD.E. Recreation and Introduc-
tion for Disabled Equestrians.
Operation R.I.D.E. is a non-profit
all volunteer group which teaches
horseback riding to the mentally
and physically handicapped.
The funds will be used to pur-
chase grain supplements for the
horses and ponies. The horses are a
therapeutic instrument and provide
the strongest motivation to acquire
and increase balance, coordination
and agility. Riding gives the rider
self respect and confidence.

Mechanicsburg.
Mrs. Bukoski is the former Diane
Louise . Fritzges, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Earl D. Fritzges, Cliffside
Avenue, Trucksville and the late
Audrey Fritzges. Gary is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Paul J. Bukoski,
Fairchild St., Nanticoke.
The Rev. Thomas Clemow and
Trinity Church, Nanticoke, per-
formed the double ring ceremony at

Freeport, Grand Bahamas, the
