Clancy sparks Lehman
over Danville, 27-23
On the short end of a 21-6 score
after six bouts Black Knight
Norman Clancy sparked his team-
mates in taking five of the next six
bouts to give Lake-Lehman grap-
plers a 27-23 win over Danville.
138-1b. Clancy took a 9-0 decision
from Mark Weaver to move the
Knights to 21-10. Knight Wayne
Rosencrans took Mike Ekberg 9-4 to
move the team score to 21-13 and
155-1b. Chris Wargo defeated Dan-
ville’s Tim Gulley 7-5 to make it 21-
16.
Lake-Lehman’s Bill Guerin wres-
tled to a 5-5 draw with 167 1b. Ken
The Elementary Wrestling Tour-

The Dallas Mountaineers put up a strong fight against
Northwest in the championship game of the Third Annual
UNICO Tournament last Thursday but came up on the short

In an action-packed contest, the
Northwest Rangers defeated the
Dallas Mountainers, 45-36, to cop
the championship “in the third
annual Unico Invitational Basket-
ball Tournament Thursday evening
on the Mountaineers’ court.
Dallas took an'early 4-0 lead in
the game but the Rangers used
outside shooting to overtake the
Mountaineers in a game that see-
sawed back and forth throughout.
The Rangers pulled in front in the
final period to give Coach Ed Gay-
to score a goal.
