ALBERT DURAN
Two Dallas residents were
recently appointed as campaign
chairmen of College Misericordia’s
1984 ‘‘Gifts for Learning’’ cam-
paign.
The appointments of Albert Duran
as general chairman and Benedicta
North Matchett as chairman of the
alumni fund raising activities were
announced recently by Frank Pas-
quini, director of development at
the College.
Duran will lead six community
vice-chairmen to raise the $292,000
goal set for 1984. The funds support
the College’s financial aid pro-

ships, work grants and leadership

Matchett, a 1956 graduate of Mis-
ericordia, will oversee the alumni’s
solicitation and phonathon phases of
the campaign. The alumni cam-
paign committee has set a goal of
$86,000 for 1984.
Presently, Duran is the senior
vice-president and chief administra-
tive officer of United Penn Bank
and is a member of the Westmore-
land Club and the Knights of Colum-
bus. eT
Matchett is presently a director-
at-large of the Alumni Association’s
Board of Directors
