The Meadows Nursing Center,
Dallas, is presently seeking volun-
teers to fill a receptionist position
weekdays from 5 to 9 p.m. and
weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The
number of hours worked may be
chosen by the volunteer.
Volunteers are also needed to
assist nurses aides in the dining
room nightly from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
and to act as ‘Friendly Visitors”
for some of the residents.
Volunteer groups who wish to visit
the facility for the Christmas holi-
day are welcome and should call the
center to make an appointment.

RULES FORHOLIDAY DECORATION CONTEST
1. Homes entered in the contest must be located within the boundries of Dallas,
Kingston, Lake, Lehman, Jackson and Franklin Townships or within the borough of
Harveys Lake and Dallas. Only homes are eligible for entry. Commercial establish-
ments or structures which are primarily or significantly commercial in nature will be
eligible for certificates of honorable mention.
2. Entries may be submitted by the resident of the entered home or on nomination by
passers-by or neighbors. in any event, the prize winner will be the occupant of the
+ homeresponsible for the decoration. :
"3. Alléntries must be received by the Dallas Post, P.O. Box 366, Dallas, Pa. by no later
than December 16, 1983, to be eligible for the prizes offered. No duplicate prizes will
be awarded and the decision of the judges is final.
