His topic will be on cross country

THE CITIZENS COMMITTEE of
the Kingston Township area will
hold a meeting on Wednesday, Dec.
7, at 8 p.m. at the Kingston Town-
ship Municipal Building.
The purpose of the meeting will
be to discuss the prevention of
landfill sights in the area.

hold its annual Christmas Party for
children 11 years and younger, on

Contestants sought
Pageant officials are currently
seeking contestants to compete for
the title of Miss Northern Pennsyl-
vania. The two-day event will be
staged Dec. 10 and 11 at the Wood-
lands Inn, Wilkes-Barre.
There is no talent required for
this title and prizes will be awarded
to the winners. Miss Amity and
Miss Photogenic will also be chosen.
Young ladies between the ages of
16 and 25 may apply.
