Meadows notes The residents of The Meadows Apartments enjoyed a bus trip in the Pocono Mountaints to view the fall foliage. The trees were at a peak of color and the trip was enjoyed by 66 residents and friends. Luncheon was enjoyed with a buffet at Blueberry Hills. The group also toured the pottery factory. Members of the committee plan-* ning the trip are Clara Troxell, Dorothy Pope, Sarah Williams, Leona Watkins, Ruth Foley, Don Williams and Mildred Cheney. 20 he The residents of The Meadows enjoyed a Halloween. Party on. Oct. 27 with 72 residents in attendance. A prize was given to each person that was gosiymed. Games were played and prizes were awarded. Doughnuts, cider and candy favors, coffee and tea were served. The committee for the party made decorations and trimmed the recreation room and also trimmed the Nursing Home next door. A four-piece band provided music for dancing.
