plans program
The Back Mountain Family
Center will present Jeff Sternlieb,
Ph.D., a licensed clinical psycholo-
gist, on Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 7:30
p.m. at College Misericordia Mercy
Center, Dallas.
The program, titled ‘‘Problem-
solving in the home,” will discuss
the “Role of Parents,” ‘‘Establish-
ing Perspective,” ‘‘Goal Setting,”
and ‘Parenting Information and
Skills.”
Dr. Sternlieb is currently on the
_staff at Wilkes-Barre General Hos-
pital and NPW Medical Center. He
has been a consultant to adolescent
group homes, day care centers,
schools and other community orga-
nizations and agencies.
The Back Mountain Family
Center, which sponsors and directs
enrichment programs for family
‘and single living, is offering this
program to the public free of
charge.

The Lake-Noxen PTA held its
annual Halloween party and parade
on Friday, Oct. 28. Prizes were
awarded to the best three costumes
from each room. After a parade in
the school yard, all the children
returned to their rooms for parties.
