A five mile run, the Hillside Slide,
will begin on the campus at noon
and end at Hillside Farms. Regis-
tration for the run will start at 10
a.m. Refreshments and transporta-
tion back to the campus will be
provided for the runners. An awards
ceremony will be held at the conclu-
sion of the run.
Other activities will include an
Open House with tours of: historic
Hayfield House, demonstrations of
traditional American crafts, a
crafts sale and a greased pig catch-
ing contest.
For the children, there will be a
pumpkin rolling contest, sack races,
bobbing for apples and pony cart
rides. Natural foods and refresh-
ments will be available from noon

At the regular October meeting of the Lake-Lehman School
Board, Mrs. Linda Major, President of the Lake-Lehman
Junior High PTSA, presented a check in the amount of $480
to the Lake-Lehman School District to be used toward the
purchase of curriculum materials for “Here's Looking at
You--Two'', the district-wide drug and alcohol abuse
