at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

John J. Baloga Funeral Home, 1442

Divine Liturgy in St. Vladimir's
Church, Edwardsville. Interment,
St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Cem-
etery, Dallas.
RENFORD WILCE
Renford P. Wilce, 53, of Pikes
Creek, died Sept. 28 in Nesbitt
Memorial Hospital, Kingston.
Surviving are his wife, the former
Louise Kyttle; daughters, Mrs.
Wendy Scott, Beaumont; Mrs.
Tammy Erzar, West Wyoming;
brother, Francis, Carbondale; sis-
ters, Miss Margaret Wilce, his twin,
Carbondale; Mrs. Pauline Hubbell
and Mrs. Arline Swire, both of
Noxen; Mrs. Dorothy Swire, Beau-
mont; six grandchildren.
Funeral was held Oct. 1 from the
Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home,
Pikes Creek, with the Rev. Kenneth
Boston of the Mooretown Assembly
of God Church, officiating. Inter-
ment, Maple Grove Cemetery,
Pikes Creek.
RITTNER WILL
Rittner E. Will, 60, of RD 1,
Benton, was pronounced dead Sept.
25 after an ultra-light airplane he
had been testing crashed in Union
Township.
Surviving are his parents, Eugene
and Jessie Harrison Will; his wife,
the former Anna Owens; sons, Ritt-

John Hospodar, 81, of RD 1, Sweet
Valley, died Sept. 24 at Carpenter
Nursing Home, Harveys Lake,
where he had been a ptient.

Mrs. Mary Beatty, Fla.

held Sept. 27 at Harold C. Snowdon
Funeral Home, Shavertown, with
burial in Maple Grove Cemetery,
Sweet Valley.
REV. HARRY MARTIN
The Rev. Harry Frank Martin Jr.,
56, of Box 61, Rd 6, Dallas, died Oct.
1 at his home following an illness.
Surviving in addition to his
mother, Mrs. Florence R. Martin of
Dallas, are his wife, the former
Beatrice Cook; sons, William, Hun-
lock Creek; James, Dallas; daugh-
ter, Mrs. Judy Kasper, Dallas; sis-
ters, Mrs. Warren Stanton, Mrs. Jay
Bloomer, Mrs. Lang Coolbaugh, all
of Dallas; three grandchildren.

tinger, pastor of Ebenezer Baptist
Church, Plymouth, officiating.

Mrs. Alice Neely Elston, 86, form-
erly of Lehman, died Oct. 1 in St.
Joseph’s Hospital, Paris, Texas.
Surviving are sons, Walter, Bir-
mingham, Ala.; Thomas, Johns-
town; daughters, Mrs. Mary Lou
Crook of Paris, Texas, with whom
she had resided; Mrs. Marcia Stahl,
Marietta, Ga.; 13 grandchildren;
sister, Mrs. Helen Terry, Berwick.
GEORGE BUZINSKI
George J. Buzinski, of 447 Slocum
St., Swoyersville, died Sept. 30 at
the home of his son, George T., of
Millington, Tenn., whom he had
been visiting.
Surviving, in addition to his son,
are daughters, Mrs. Mary Zukosky,
Swoyersville; Mrs. Audrey Mun:
katchy, Wilkes-Barre; five grand-
children; one great-grandson; sis-
ters, Mrs. Gertrude Danek and
Theodora Holmes, both of Johnson
City, N.Y.; Mrs. Alvina Paletta,
Jacksonville, Fla.; Mrs. Romaine
Kovac, Binghamton, N.Y.
Funeral was held Oct. 4 from
Lehman Funeral Home, Swoyers-
ville, with ‘a Mass of Christian
Burial in St. Ignatius Church,
Kingston. Interment, Sacred Heart
Cemetery, Dallas.
Name was incorrect
The name of Mrs. Mary Wach
of New Bedford, Mass., was
spelled incorrectly in the obitu-
ary of Mrs. Agnes Bogutski in
the Sept. 28 edition of The Dallas
Post.
Mrs. Wach is the eldest daugh-
ter of Mrs. Bogutski, of 264
Warsaw St., Swoyersville, who
passed away Sept. 20.

Christopher French, 21, of Dallas,
shot himself on Sept. 26 in the
parking lot of the Prince of Peace
Episcopal Church after leading
police on a chase through three
Back Mountain communities.
Kim Bonawitz, French’s former
girlfriend, phoned police to inform
them of French’s threats to kill both
her and himself after which the
Wilson R. Garinger, 62, owner -of
the Dallas Dairy, was sentenced to
four years probation and fined
$1,000 Sept. 26 on charges he sold a
small amount of marijuana to a
state trooper.
Garinger, of RD 2, Dallas, was
found guilty by a jury in June 1982
on two counts of possession and two
chase began when French drove

The annual election for directors
to the board of the Exeter Township
Medical Center will be held Oct. 10,
at 7:30 p.m. at the Falls Senior
Citizen Center, Rt. 92.
One director will be elected to
repiesent each of the five partici-
pating townships that comprise the
area serviced by the Medical
Center. They are: Exeter Township,
Wyoming County; Franklin Town-
ship, Exeter Township, Luzerne
County; Falls Township and North-
moreland Township.
Citizens from these townships are
eligible to be a candidate for elec-
tion and to vote at the meeting of
Oct. 10. Walter Mondlak, North-
moreland Township, chairman of
the nominating committee can also
be contacted at 836-3606 by anyone
interested in a nomination.
