Miss Joan Turel was organist and the string music for the ceremony was performed by Mrs. Lillian Sup- plee, Miss Julie Supplee and Miss Jean Supplee. Given in marriage by her father, the bride selected a gown of white chiffon which was designed with a portrait neckline, molded bodice and a full skirt detailed with schiffle lace and flowing into a sweep train. The portrait neckline was enhanced with a sweep flounce of schiffle lace and a border of schiffle lace at the hemline. To compliment her gown, she chose a picture hat of triple-layered white chiffon embroidered with schiffle lace. She carried an arm bouquet of white irises and white fugi mums tied with white satin ribbons. Miss Maurita Gries was maid of honor. She wore a white two-piece Batiste ensemble. The bodice was designed with a high neck, deep yoke and full Bishop sleeves featur- ing cluny lace. The tea length, doubletiered skirt was edged with cluny lace. The dress was accented by a royal blue sash. Her headpiece of white mini car- nations with cascades of royal blue baby’s breath was designed by Miss Lilly Vilewinski of Miners Mills. She carried an arm bouquet of blue irises and yellow fugi mums tied with white ribbons. It fitted bodice with embroidered net had a bouffont skirt with deep ruffle hemline. She carried a white Cat- tleya orchid. The mother of the bridegroom wore a tea-length dress of rainbow voile. It was designed with three- quarter length sleeves, bateau neck- line and a straight skirt. It was accented with a matching sash. She wore a white Catteya orchid. A cocktail and dinner reception was held immediately following the ceremony at The Barn, Newberry Estates, Dallas. Piano music for the reception was performed by Kenny McGraw, Scranton. Pre-nuptual festivities included a luncheon shower for the bride given by Mrs. Margie Magli, Mrs. Frances Jones, Mrs. Pat Monick and the bridal attendants. A cocktail party was given in honor of the bride and bridegroom by Mr. and Mrs. Will F. Maguire at their home in Bear Creek.
