interested persons to begim work to
establish. an official Northeastern
Pennsylvania Unit of the American
Trauma Society (ATS). The meet-

THE WILKES COLLEGE CON-
CERT AND LECTURE SERIES
will feature the internationally
acclaimed concert pianists, brothers
Anthony and Joseph Paratore on
Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 8 p.m. in
the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center
for the Performing Arts.
The concert is open to the public
at no charge.
CLIFFORD BALSHAW, Music
Director of the Wyoming Valley
Oratorio Society, has announced the
rehearsal and concert schedule for
the group’s 36th fall season.
New and former chorus members
are invited to attend the first ses-
sion at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, in
the upstairs choir room of St. Ste-
phen’s Episcopal Church, South
Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre.
Tenors and basses are especially
welcome.
The concert, to be presented at
3:30 p.m. Sunday, December 4, will
include Beethoven’s ‘‘Choral Fan-
tasy’’ and three works by Vaughan
Williams, ‘‘Benedicite’”’, ‘‘Sons of
Light” and ‘‘Fantasia on old 104th”.
