Mrs. Betty Moore of Lehman
hosted the annual reunion of the
Sorber Mountain, at her home. The
Sorber family reunions are an
annual occurance as the first reun-
ion was held in 1961.
The Jerry Smith family of Liv-
ingston, N.J. traveled the furthest.
“Prizes also went to Wendy and John
Hettes, youngest newlyweds; Mrs.
Fern Smith of Ruggles, oldest
family member present; Ryan

longest married couple. They were
married in 1938 andthis year

REFRESHER SHORTHAND:
Continuation of the basic principals

BEGINNING TYPING: Students
will be introduced to the keyboard,
proper position at the typewriter
and will become familiar with the

will improve their speed and accu-

WATERCOLOR PAINTING: The
course will cover the basic tech-
niques of watercolor painting and

YOGA: Flexibility and muscle

casting on, knitting, purling,
increasing, decreasing and reading =
a pattern. Materials will be sup-

familiarize studetns with basic
stitches in crochet, and pattern
reading. Bring size F, G, or H
crochet hook; yarn will be, supplied.
OCT. 18: COUNTED CROSS
STITCH - Will cover centering, pat-
tern reading and following cross
and outline stitching. Materials will
be supplied.
OCT. 25: EXPLORING NEEDLE- -
POINT - Will cover a variety of
different stitches to add dimension
and pattern to needlepoint. Materi-
als will be supplied.
NOV. 1: CANDLEWICKING - Stu-
dent would be required to purchase
‘a candlewicking kit for this class.
NOV. 8: QUILTING - Basic tech-
needed for this class include, corru-
gated cardboard, clear contact
paper, toothpicks and straight pins.
