Auditorium on the Lehman campus.
- This first film is an adaptation of
the Dauphne Du Maurier story and
stars Donald Sutherland and Julie
Christie.
All film showings are free of
charge and the public is invited. For
more information on the Film
Series, contact Dr. Robert Merrill
or Dr. Christopher Shipley at Penn
outlined with the band appearing at |
various competitions during the fall
season. The first competition will be
held Sunday, Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. at
the Whitehall High School, Allen-
town. ;
Dallas band moderators are John
Kasco, marching; David Benn,
majorettes; Mrs. Joan Benn, flags;
and Karen Arnaud, strutters.

Alzheimer’s disease - senility - is
one of the least understood diseases
and the fourth leading cause of
death in our country, afflicting
approximately three million Ameri-
cans
For the purpose of reviewing and
discussing diagnostic and treatment
procedures of the disease, the Office
of Continuing Education at Luzerne
County Community College will
offer two day-long seminars on the
Band Boosters meet
The Dallas Band Boosters met
recently at the Dallas High School
with Ethel MacAvoy presiding. The
band, under the direction of David
Benn, is comprised of 112 members.
A program for the year was
subject.
The first seminar will be held on
Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 9 a.m. to
4 p.m., at the college’s Educational
Conference Center and is designed
for practitioners of the disease.
The second informational seminar
on Alzheimer’s disease will be held
on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 9 a.m.
to 4 p.m., at the LCCC Educational
Conference Center.
