PWP Meets
The Wilkes-Barre Area
Chapter 961 of Parents
Without Partners held a
steak roast recently at the
home of Jean Duda, Dayv-
enport Street, Dallas.
Mrs. Duda stated that
PWP usually tries to find
donors for a local Red
Cross blood drive, but this
year, since they were
unable to find a sufficient
amount of people to donate
blood, they decided to hold
a function to raise money
instead.
About 40 members and
their guests attended the
function in® Mrs. Duda’s
yard. The members
brought their own ‘‘grill-
ings” and the ladies of
PWP provided salads and
fixings. The event was
organized by Delorine
Boline, community service
director. Hostess was Jean
Duda and co-hostess was
Brenda Zahasky.
The entertainment was a
great surprise since a
“Belly-Gram” was deliv-
Baten
ered by a belly dancer to
one of the male members
of the group who was cele-
brating a birthday.
Parents Without Part-
ners is an international
