For three games aking two balls press 11-19 With Joe Gula The Luzerne-Courtdale-Pringle Lions- Club will hold its first Annual Chicken Barbecue on Sunday, July 17 from noon to 6 p.m. on the Main St. lot in Luzerne. Michael Hardik, third vice-president of the club, explained that the event success of last year’s Centennial Com- mittee Barbecue. Bob Morgan, president, announced the menu will include one-half chicken, baked potato, vegetable, rolls, cake and beverage. Takeouts will be available throughout the bar- beque. -0- Luzerne Borough will begin filing complaints against property owners who have failed to pay their sewer tax. The action is being filed through Bor- ough Solicitor Arthur L. Piccone. Harold Noble, newly appointed chair- man of the Sewer Authority said the community has gone to considerable length to allow property owners to pay the $24.50 quarterly fee. He added delinquent payers are unfair to those who already paid the sewer rental. John Oselnick, chairman of the coun- cil, agreed. He said he feels it is simply unfair to allow this to happen, so the -0- Forty Fort Borough Crime Watch Chairman Jack Thompson, announced last week how successful neighborhood programs can be in reducing crime.
