Wilkes-Barre General Hos-
pital’s day care center,
recently held an open
house in celebration of its
firth birthday. Close to 100
hundred parents, grand-
parents and friends visited
the center during the eve-
ning hours to meet infor-
mally with staff members
and to view the children’s
progress.
Grandparents and
friends who visited ‘Little
General” for the first time
were introduced to the five
separate learning and
development areas by the
children, who proudly dis-
played the. areas, projects
completed and daily learn-
ing aids.
For the parents, open
house provided a relaxed
atmosphere for them to
meet with teachers and
